Android Beam - Transfer Files Wirelessly Between Android Phones

Android Beam allows users send content between Android phones by pressing them back-to-back. This platform can be found on many new android phones.

With the Android Beam feature, you can share contents such as Web pages, videos, photos, maps and many more.

How To Check For NFC Support On Your Android Phone

When transferring contents between two Android devices, ensure they both have NFC Support. To check for NFC Support, go to your device's settings screen and goto more..

Check for NFC and enable it on both devices if you find it disabled.

If you are unable to find NFC on your device, then your device doesn't have the NFC hardware.

Now goto the content you want to share, you can share maps, videos, photos, Web page (chrome browser) and many more.

We'll be using a Web page for this tutorial. Open the required Web page on Chrome Browser.

Beam Unlock both devices and press/place them back-to-back.

Note: For some tablets you shouldn't just place the devices anyhow, ensure the NFC chip located at the back meets.

You should hear a sound when a connection is established between the two devices and you should see a notification "Touch To Beam" display somewhere on the screen.

Touch the content you want to share and it will automatically appear on the other device.
